Well... granted Khan isn't as smart as the typical Indian you'd find at your local University or what not but clearly there is no "definite" answer for hurt. There is a lot of ambiguity when talking about being hurt.

If having your eyes glossed over in no-mans land running around like a wounded jack rabbit in complete defense mode isn't hurt than so be it. He obviously doesn't qualify that as hurt. To me Kahns technique was all wrong he needs to fight more under control. He's fast and can throw good combinations but it looks as if he's trying to imitate Pacquiao. It not going to work his footwork needs to improve and he going to be the taller fighter most of the time. He needs to take advantage of that. He landed the good body shot in the first but every time he throws downstairs inclose he leaves himself way open on top. He also leans in too much. He will do much better if he stands up a little more. Maidana should hav been easy to outbox with all the advantages Kahn has. I just think Kahn was not impressive I thought he would blow Maidana away. His power isn't great either. He has the tools to be a great fighter but he needs to pearn how to use them right. Right now he sort of fights like a faster version of Paul Williams and we know what happened to him.

Maidana lose the fight, nevertheless, with heart and power demonstrates Khan as medium level boxer (who survives with courage) and not as a great figure, f Khan bad spent most of the fight running and embracing, do you imagine Marquez doing something similar?.
And also to be honest, Maidana practically took Khan knocked out on foot and he could have won the combat, I believe the fight was better for Maidana's future than from Khan.-
