Martinez rehydrated to 168?? vs Williams2.. i dont know why team Pac just doesnt come out and admit its a bad match up not because of weight but because of style.. well thats my opinion anyway
20+pound difference on fight night and you're saying pac isn't fighting sergio because of style, not weight? wow...

      Bad thread, good username.

It's funny to me to see some PAC fans turning into floydstans.

Ya'll should really look to your leaders (chups, mak, akin, tamis etc) for guidance.

i don't know, maybe because it's a one shot deal? or maybe because fighting way bigger opponents is finally taking its toll on his body? or maybe juuuust maybe his fckin lightweight frame actually has a fckin limit and can't handle fighting fckin junior middleweights with fckin 20 pound advantage over him back to back?

there is a difference between someone going up in weight, giving up 20 pounds in the process and (catcweight or not) snatching a belt that you were never really expected to obtain to begin with, given the weight you started at (for exhibition, money, legacy, whatever), and expecting the same fighter to fckin clear the whole damn division.

you want to talk about logic? that was his first fight at that weight, and you expect him to fight sergio next? come the fck on, brah. at least let the little bastard settle at that weight first (if it's even possible)... is that really too much to ask?

It just goes to show what kind of unreasonable standards these haters are applying on Pac. Imagine them fully expecting Pac to fight someone TWO WHOLE WEIGHT CLASSES ABOVE HIM and saying he's ducking if he refuses to fight the guy!

Who do they want him to fight next.. Vlad?

Arguments aside, I seriously don't think Manny can physically fight at above 147. The junior middleweight title was a huge mistake on their part because people are now claiming that he can actually fight at that weight. He got lucky with Margarito and I don't think he should put his body in anymore danger since he's got another career to look out for.

Martinez was looking for a payday. First he said that he was too small, but then after Dibella talked to him he changed his mind. Manny IS A LMW Belt holder after all. A catchweight at 154 was more than reasonable. I do feel that Manny IS small for Martinez, but if that is the case, then there should have never been a LMW fight vs Margarito for a belt in the first place. I rather see Martinez vs Mayweather anyways and I favor Martinez but Manny just needs to drop the belt and clean 140-147 and call it a day

I love how *******s think!!It was never ok for Manny to fight Margarito for a 154lb title, but Arum made that happen, now *******s are blaming the man that held that title for asking Pacman to fight??If Pacman was too small for 154,he should have never beaten a shot, cheating Margarito for a title there!!Any real fight fan that doesn't have Pac jizz streaming down his face needs to keep it real & just admit that that Margarito title fight was a bull**** farce, since Pacman is too small for the weight & all!!But also, that he can't be that great if a lesser fighter (that he already beat)went there & beat a champion that was too big for Pacman!!

Yeah, so by virtue... Martinez is actually "ducking" Pacquiao.... I guess.
