Diaz said the gloves are too heavy. They weighed them and they were 10.5 oz.
They switched to the 8oz Everlast gloves because they were the right weight.
8oz gloves favour sluggers as there is less padding between the knuckle and the leather.
Mike Tyson used to punch the walls in to get his knuckles through the padding and as close to the lether as possible to damage his opponents.Comment
