I agree with Naz....I didn't like that 10th round one bit....it seemed like the longest round of the fight to me ....but hey, it comes with the territory...at some point you're gonna have to face some kind of adversity when you fight against the BEST....AK came out a lil' damaged but I think he gained a lil' more respect from the hardcore boxing community....the kid took some shots that ppl thought he wouldn't....reminds me of a Run-DMC song...they said "the turn tables might wobble but they won't fall down"....AK should've grabbed to limit the punishment he took in that round...but hey, the kid is a warrior....even in his lowest moment(the Prescott fight) he tried so hard to get to his feet....he even got up too soon after the first knock down....the kid is a warrior campaigning as a boxer....when he gets hurt...he fires back...not saying thats smart but hey, instincts are a mofo ....but I feel what Naz is saying.....big Naz is just being his brother's keeper!!....nothing wrong with that.

Now there's one down to earth opinion from Hamed. He can't be truer than that about the fight. Some say Khan proved his critics wrong about his chin but truth is he barely got way with the win. One, just one well placed shot from Maidana could have changed everything. I don't really have anything against Khan but it seems he's been talking more that he can actually deliver. Perhaps it's the pressure to be the next boxing star. Maybe he should slow down a little bit so boxing fans won't think ahead of him.

He lost because it was Joe Cortez who was the ref when he fought Barrera. Now I see the pattern, Joe Cortez is the culprit then even for the Maidana loss.

Most of the time in a big fight the corner gives their fighter the boost needed to continue fighting. The corner should be capable of giving technical advices after a hard fought round. The trainer should be able to give answers to the problems encountered during the past round. Then the fighter gets the confidence to come out and fight.

Man that's what they all say.... To retire is extremely hard. You have to be very very tough mentally to retire from Boxing. And even if you do retire, the temptation to come back is so great, that most retired fighters come out of retirement for a few more fights....
