Why are people saying it's gonna be an exciting fight? It's not. Shane is gonna have the jitters and won't pull the trigger. He'll gas and clinch while taking punches. This a joke of a fight. This isn't the old Shane that fought DLH in 2000, this Shane barely let's his hands go.

Mosley should fight Mora or Berto. Pacquaio should fight anyone else who isn't nearing retirement and has looked like crap since Cotto outpointed him almost 4 years ago.

No. Even though I would have loved this fight last year and it doesn't make much sense now, they are still my 2 favorite fighters. Mosley hasn't done well this year but I'm not going to shun him just because of that.

If there was a fight that deserved the most boycotting, it was the Margarito fight...


Still, Pac-Mosley is a **** fight, but I'd end up watching it like the rest of you.

Oddly, it almost seems like Pacquiao is in the same predicament that Mayweather was pre-Haiti earthquake. At that time there was no Pac fight to talk about and nobody else in welterweight was good enough and/or available. suddenly the earthquake happens and Mosley is there as an opponent.

Almost the same thing now. There is no matchup for Pac against Floyd, and there is really nobody else in the WW division to truly match up with Pac and make bank with.

However, this time around it's slightly worse..there's no selling angle to this matchup at all, other than the potential to beat up Mosley greater than Mayweather did.

However, if there's ever any silver lining then it's that Mayweather seems to want to trump Pacquiao on match-making. He brought forth Marquez to Pacquiao's Cotto. Then brouth forth Mosley to Pacquiao's Clottey matchup.

Maybe there will be another matchup on Mayweather's part to trump Pacquiao fighting Mosley. Don't see how hard that trump could be, though.
