Pacquiao who weighs 144 lb on a Jr Middleweight fight have to fight a 170+ Pounder guy when Margarito has been fighting his whole life at 147. Pac will stay at 147 until his career is done

Just like Mayweather, Pacquiao is in a position where he can pick and choose who he wants to fight. I don't believe Mayweather right now is ready to the fight Pacquiao for numerous reasons, but at the same time it's kind of silly to start dissin Pacquiao's selection of opponents like he's been fighting nothing but bums.
Mind you, a year and a half ago this is what we saw from many of Pacquiao's skeptics:
"Hatton is too big and strong for Pacquiao, Hatton's fighting at HIS weight"
"Cotto is gonna be too big & strong for Pacquiao. Cotto is a LEGIT Welterweight"
If you don't like Pacquiao, that's cool. You can't please everyone. But a lot of people here (just like the Mayweather haters) will always find something to try to discredit Pacquiao with. But as it stands, he's already faced guys not only Mayweather's never fought (at Welterweight) but guys no Boxing fan today every envisioned him ever fighting. How many people in 2007 had a thought in their mind that a Cotto vs Pacquiao fight was even possible. Skip 2 yrs, Pacquiao fights and destroys Cotto...yet Cotto was shot and was a bum.

By that logic, why did Floyd fight Zab after he lost to Baldomir? Why did Floyd fight a lightweight in Marquez and still come in over weight after Pac fought him twice? Why did he fight a war ridden old Gatti that Oscar destroyed years prior? I could go on and on. Using the why is he fighting Mosley because Floyd already beat him is weak!!!!
Mosley wasn't prime when Floyd fought him and isn't prime now. He's fighing him because he's waiting on Floyd to come off vacation, go to court or whatever other excuse he can come up with. Yes this fight with Floyd will never happen. I've been saying that from the beginning.
What is Floyd gonna do if and when the Pac fight doesn't happens? We all know he's not gonna take a risky fight against a fighter in his prime. You really think he's gonna fight a Berto, Martinez ir any of the other young up and coming stars? He never has and never wil. So if he doesn't fight Pac he may as well retire because who is left? Pac has already fought Marquz twice, this is a keep busy fight with the hopes of waiting Mayweather out, but like I said this fight will never happen unless Floyd has all the advantages which Pac will not let happen. Floyd needs to realize he will have t make some compromises and meet in the middle and that wil never happen either.

Pacquiao and His fans are using Floyd as a reason to cherrypick.
Plain and Simple.
Clottey= Nobody
Cotto = Catchweight and Shot
Margarito= Catchweight and extra shot
He gets credit for the hatton win.
Even Pacquiao doubted himself in that fight. Saying himself if he loses it is in god's will. Never before or never again have I heard Pacquiao speak like that.
But as of late this dude. Is a cherrypicker.and he is has showed to be a one trick pony in his selection.
Handicapin fights by catchweightin them just makes it worst.
If he didnt need the catchweights he wouldnt demand them.
the guy is making fighters fight with one hand behind their backs.
Why doesnt Pacquiao fight somebody like Berto instead of a faded mosley. Maybe because Berto Upper cut would stop **** quickly.
Handspeed Berto and Pacquiao might be tied.

ya'll act ****** on purpose. Berto vs pacquiao or mosley vs pacquiao, which one makes the bob father more money? that's what it boils down to.
for the record I've stated (even b4 margarito) I wanted a unification bout at 147 (which meant berto, if no floyd).
Twitchin Shane Molsey vs Pac isn't the worst fight in the world, but it should be considered a mismatch and pac should clearly win. If floyd still isn't available by the end of 2011, hopefully Berto gets an actual name on his resume by then and that can happen.Comment

In order for Floyd Mayweather to exceed his longest Inactivity mark he would not have to fight before February 2, 2011. Anytime after that he would set a new mark for his personal longest Inactivity.
Considering the stats as listed up above, it is clear to see Mayweather will probably exceed his longest inactivity mark, and moreso continue his pattern of dimishing his number of fights he has every four years.
In short Floyd Mayweather Jr. is offically a Part Time Fighter.
He fights once a year. When he comes back he does fight in big fights. Unlike Pacquiao. He is fighting shot fighters, and handicaping at the same time.
Manny Pacquiao isnt a part time fighter. He doesnt basically fights once a year. The last fighter Pacquiao fought in their prime was JMM and most people thought he lose including one of the judges.
We just want to see fight somebody in their prime, without a catchweight, who isnt coming off a damaging Knockout or loss.
Not that Hard.
fight Berto or Martinez and stop using Mayweather inactivity as a excuse.

Quit using retirements, vacations, jail time, tax problems, losses, drawing power, distance of country, etc., etc., as a reason for Floyd to duck prime welterweights.Comment

Mayweather has been the offical Lineal Welterweight champion twice.
He had to fought somebody to get that title.
No welterweight in the past 20 years can say they have been the
offical lineal welterweight champion twice!
