Do people honestly believe that Khan didn't know his Reebok gloves were 10oz?

Maidana wore the Everlast MX gloves. I have heard that the MX model of Everlast pro fight gloves are more of a puncher's glove than Cleto Reyes.

I've also noticed that I always see fighters get hurt when getting hit by the Everlast MX gloves. Never seen a fight where a fighter didn't get hurt at some point when getting hit by those things.

So we can all give more credit to Khan's punch resistance.

The thread starter is an idiot and obviously has never boxed in his life, I have problems telling glove sizes and use to compete. You can not tell off the cuff because different brands often look bigger and smaller even though they are the same size. The design and padding is different.

Your not an idiot for not knowing, but are for presuming that all fighters would know straight away exactly what glove size they are dealing with, and even then if it wasn't an honest mistake, why agree to wear 8 oz gloves when they could have contracted 10's in Nevada. Im guessing it was an honest mistake, basically because the reebok glove isn't widely used and Freddie Roach probably missed it as well.

You're the idiot, you think Khan just turns up and uses a model of gloves he's never even tried on before? Old Diaz spotted there was something wrong with them but the fighter that is familiar with them doesn't. Yeah right.
