Come on Khan fight Mayweather!

I like Khan but in no way is he ready for Mayweather. He needs 3 or 4 more big fights (and preferably a few lessor ones as practice) before he takes on Mayweather.

You may not like Mayweather but the man has skills.

He will fight someone not in his prime or near his prime

thats what floyd does, he only fights guys past their best or at a weight class they look crap in.

Mayweather only throws 1-2 combos the most, thats why khan will not be bothered at all by mayweathers punch output
khan will be in and out before floyd can react imo


I hope they arrange the fight next, I know from what I have seen that if khan fights bradley he will coast the win, from there, mayweather will always duck him and never fight him

Ha. Just in case you aren't aware that fighters defend themselves. Boxers have a thing called head movement and foot speed. You wouldn't know that by watching freddie's fighters fight. They school plodding tough guys. Floyd is not that. Khan would not outbox floyd, so how does he win?

You're right. Mayweather is getting old, but Khan isn't ready right now. If he faces Mayweather now *I* think it will be a one-sided rout with Mayweather winning at least 11 of 12 rounds.

Two years from now? Who knows.

I can't believe this is even being considered. Mayweather would beat Khan down.

It's all well and good throwing flurries against Maidana whose counterpunching consisted mainly of a short hook, but Mayweather would land harder and more often and take the wind out of his sails.

And he would destroy Khan inside no problem.

I don't think it would be a bad fight, it would be pleasing on the eye and Khan would have some success. But it wouldn't be close.
