Vic Darchinyan and his team are planning to protest Saturday's split decision loss to Abner Mares at the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma, Washington. The fight was a semi-final bout in Showtime's bantamweight tournament. Two judges saw it for Mares with scores of 115-111 and 114-112. A third judge had it 115-111 for Darchinyan.
What do you expect joining a fraud tournament, it's showtime...
What makes it a fraud, because its on showtime? They are having 4 of the best in a divison fight each in 2 good nights of boxing. Mares won that decsion as did Agbeko. I'm looking forward to the final
This was a razor thin type of fight. I thought Vic one by a point, but no way should this get overturned. It could really have gone either way. I noted at least 4 swing rounds that could have went to either fighter depending on what the judge is looking for. Vic is my boy, but this isn't a warranted protest.
****in ******s. Hating because mexico has better champions than puerto rico its ****ing sad how delusional these fanboys are. Im not mexican eiter, and cottos my fav fighter, but these dudes act like angry broads in this board.
