What are the Ametuer Boxing Weight Classes?

few differences. there's a super heavyweight division in Amatuer which is the same as Heavyweight in pro boxing.

Why not go for HW or SHW?

Those guys are slow as hell except for the elite fighters such as Deandre Browne and Michael Hunter.

And as for what you other guys were saying, you wouldn't want to go into 201 or 201+ with a significant size handicap. There are some BIG guys in those divisions, who are also good boxers. I've seen some small Super Heavies or heavies get absolutely pummelled.

Yea if you're under 6 feet tall, then there's no point of being in the 200lb+ divisions unless you fight like Tyson, Frazier etc.

i dont think my chin can hold up at hw or shw lol. im naturally a smaller man in a fat body :P i can lose it rather easily. start training on wensday
