Khan put Maidana down in the first with a body shot, landed some incredibly fast combo's, won round after round, and survived the kind of beating none of us thought he was capable of without ever going down. Yep, he aint shiiit.

Maidana ain't won ****! Khan clearly won that fight, he won most of the rounds plus had two 10-8 rounds from the knock down and the point deduction.

I'm no Khan fan but he clearly won the fight. I know Khan's got a big mouth and some boxing fans want him to get KTFO or at least lose but let's give him credit when he does well.

Cortez was horrible...but Amir speed won the fight for him. It was the first time i see an Amir Khan fight and he's a good fighter.

But he's not ready for the likes of Mayweather.

floyd is featherfisted.....He was not able to knock-out a natural superfeatherweight fighter....I think Khan will destroy Floyd who is not a hard puncher like Maidana...

If you thin Khan will destroy Mayweather on the basis that Khan survived a scare in the Maidana fight then you should rethink your statement. Mayweather may not have a big punch but he's got speed and is far more skilled than Maidana. If anything, this fight should tell you that Khan ain't ready for Floyd.

i think what roach said is that Khan has some balls mainly bcoz he's feather-fisted, glass chin and still came out winning a close fight (almost broke his neck in the process), probably sold his soul to devil just to be able to survive RD 10. And of course, the devil came in the form of... taadaa, Ref Cortez.

Both Khan and Maidana deserve props for the fight they put on. That was some brutal a$$ **** right there! Roach states that Khan has balls and he is right, however Roach looked mighty worried when Maidana treated Khan like a rag doll in that tenth round. The fact that Roach said he almost considered stopping it says one thing! He cares about his fighters. I imagine if the fight was nip and tuck and then that happened, Roach would have stopped it. The fact that Khan took a huge early lead was I think part of the he reasoning for letting it go. I think the other part was to see how much heart and will Khan had. Say what you want but Khan has heart. I am not a fan of his braggart attitude but one thing is for sure, I will watch his fights...

If Madonna had better stamina he would've KO'd Khan. Props to Khan for surviving tho. He fought a good fight offensively, but his defense needs a lot of work. Run and cover just like Manny. Difference is, Manny has a chin....
