One factor is that Maidana wasn't getting close to Khan that easily, he wasn't cutting off the ring that well. As a result while Cortez did break them early a couple of times it wasn't really that many, certainly not on a Hatton/Mayweather scale. Maidana's best shots weren't actually the punches on the inside they were those wild unsighted lunges that Khan didn't see coming. I still think Khan wins, Cortez was biased but imo he didn't affect the outcome, Khan's movement and handspeed is too good.Comment
