Maidana actually has very good footspeed to pressure Khan.. i don't see anyone close to Maidanas power or footspeed to close Khan down from his blistering 5 punch combos. Ortiz has good punch but he gets stopped by Khan imo
    Completely agree...

I was about to write up about it on another thread.

1 clean punch?; I mean common the highlights alone show he got hit a plentiful amount in the 10th alone.

He got hit with a Flush shot to the chin and that's why he got rocked. He got hit clean with uppercuts and hooks while he was rocked.

A few rounds before Maidana threw the same punch and it clocked him on the top of the head as well.

Saying Maidana landed only 1 punch outta 767 thrown and only that punch almost knocked him out/down is pretty glim.

The body shot from Khan took a lot of out Maidana IMO. I think that if he hadnt of been hit with that shot he would have been able to take Khan out as I felt he lost his stamina quite early on....

Maidana is deceiving as f'uck. Remember how he got of the stool in the 10th and I am thinking this guy is out of fuel and Amir should just pressure this guy for a TKO but Maidana is clever and that is why Amir got caught slipping because that over hand right was brutal and should have KO'd Amir. But I am very pleased to see he weathered the storm and came through a very close fight.

Khan has improved a great deal on his punch resistance but he used to get wobbled by jabs and he has been down a few times already in the past when he was at an ideal weight.

One thing people always bypass is that Khan has a weak temple and that is the main reason he loses his legs. But after seeing him take all of Maidana's shots (the ones he could see coming) I am sure he can handle a lot of hard punches. Those upper cuts were murderous and why the hell he wanted to act like Manny Pacquiao is beyond me.
