marcos fought a tough fight and amir rose to the occasion. i just dont like how maidana threw an overhand right while amir was trying to show respect and tap gloves....Comment

That's a pretty good list.#1 Manny Pacquiao - Obvious reasons just won his 9th division or whatever
#2 Sergio Martinez - Catches Middleweight crown and defends it in awesome fashion against "the most feared boxer" in paul williams
#3 Floyd Mayweather - Has potential to be #1 but with inactivity and failure to fight fighters in they primes leaves this guy at #3
#4 Wladimir Klitschko - Dominating the HW division. ****** he had to pull out of his fight this weekend but would have been a win under his belt anyways.
#5 Juan Manuel Marquez - Still taxin dat ass at age 37 and is unbeatable at 135 right now. A move to 140 would be interesting, a fight with Zab Judah would be cool
#6 Jean Pascal - Beat former undefeated champ chad dawson in a close war. This guy has the tools to break top 5 in 2011
#7 Amir Khan - Put on a great performance against Marcos Maidana and proved the critics wrong. He took Marcos's best shots and never tasted the canvas once.
#8 Vitali Klitschko - Second best HW out there. Has arguebly never lost a round since coming out of retirement
#9 Andre Ward - Undefeated in the Super Six, he has what it takes to be top 5 in the coming years. Is the outright favourite to win super six
#10 Juan Manuel Lopez - This guy keeps woopin ass at 125, Hard pressed to say who will beat him any time soon.
Although I wouldn't quite place Pascal that high (fringe of top 10 at best I think). Same with Amir just yet. Maybe just outside the top 10 for now. With that said, it's tough to come up with more worthy guys I guess besides the winner of Donaire/Montiel. Those two are already on the bottom of some people's top 10 lists and the winner of that fight surely deserves decent spot.
I like the inclusion of the Klitschkos. 'Pound for Pound' isn't a term usually given to heavyweights but I don't see why the casual fan seem to just exclude them. Their body of work (boring or not) is without question and well...they just simply don't even lose rounds anymore. Not really their fault that there's not enough talented heavies. And that they're well coordinated giants with excellent jabs (first place you'd probably start in evaluating a boxer's skill). What more do people expectComment
