anyone else notice some of the habits pacquiao has khan does?

he should stop because clearly he's not pacquiao.

for example, pacquiao when he stops moving from side to side he tends to put his guard up and allows his opponent to throw punches, and what always gets through his high guard are uppercuts, they split right through. Clottey landed them, Cotto and Margarito. But it's pacquiao, so he just eats them, then continues on like it's nothing.

Khan does the exact same thing. When he stops moving laterally, he stands still on his feet, straight up, with a high guard, and he allows Maidana to throw punches and the uppercut kept getting through. I think all those shots khan ate when he was like that is what wore him down a bit and could be what was responsible for him getting nearly knocked down/out in the 10th. Pacquiao likes to prove he's macho but I don't think khan should since his chin is still a liability.

Also khan does that little pacquiao raises both hands after he gets hit thing.

Some bad habits that really only work for pacquiao.

    Just a couple observations.

Khan tried the shoulder roll, is he Floyd?

Khan got hit on the chin, is he Margarito?

Manny is not the first to stand still and hold like that, nor is he the only guy to do that tap glvoe thing in the air, I have seen it in Thai kicking boxing.

After that highguard and being hit with uppercuts, Pac unleashes combos that catch opponents by surprise. Khan does nothing of that sort. He just covers up then retreats.

khan never raised his hands in the air until after he was trained by roach. I believe he even said he did it because of pacquiao.

jeesus they are trained by the same man, they train together and spar together, obviously there can be some similarities.

i know what u mean man, i actually think that's the reason khan got ****d in the later rounds, he tryed to be as hardy as the pacman and eat up those uppercuts and bodyshots while in the shell but it was taking an obvious toll on him

he fought dumb as hell, and he would put his hands up, and hit his fists together and put them up in the air etc it was obvious he was trying to fight like pacquiao against maidana

hes tested and proved himself, now he dont need to ever take that type of test again.

his standing there eating uppercuts and moving back allowing baseball bat hooks was bit sloppy, needs tight guard, chin down behind shoulder when he moves away.or just clinch, push away move back, repeat, but only when really needed.

from now on hes proven and will hopefully will stay focused on gameplans and otuboxing boxers.

his defense, movement, power, speed, counters, combinations will all improve each time.

but even as he is now,he still outboxes and hurts alexander/bradley,makes them look overhyped and ordinary.

I felt like Khan was trying to act like Pac at times in the fight, which was dumb of him in my opinion.

                  I agree with you TS

He needs to just find his own style that suits him... But i suppose he enjoys using pac as a role model...g
