Antillon- good opponent but looking at HIS record shows even less weight than the resume you criticize in Rios.
Jesus Chavez- really? you do realize that since he won the IBF belt against Leavander Johnson (RIP) that he has gone exactly 2-6? explain to me how this guy is something of note please?
David Diaz- let's see losses to only Soto and Pacquiao no real shame in that. However, if you are not just using boxrec (which I know you are) then you would realize Diaz is a lucky and fortunate fighter having escaped being beat by Santa Cruz when SC gassed horribly. You would also see that he arguably got a gift against a Morales who is clearly on the other side of prime AND arguably lost against Ramon Montano, a guy PROSPECT Frankie Gomez beat easily in his last fight.
so again how are these guys any better than Peterson? in fact I venture to say Teron may give the versions of Diaz and Chavez that Soto faced losses as well
honestly know the subject matter before you reply
Antillon fought:
WBC Champ-Humberto Soto
WBA Champ-Miguel Acosta
top contender-Daniel Attah
top ten contender-Bobby Pacquiao
contender-Rene Gonzalez (27-1)
contender-Ivan Valle (21-1)
contender-Adan Hernandez (13-1)
contender-Tyrone Harris (23-4)
who has Rios beaten????? an overrated Anthony Peterson?
Jesus Chavez- was a last minute replacement for Edwin Valero, whom had chickened-out many times against Soto.
David Diaz- was another replacement for Edwin Valero, whom had chickened-out many times against Soto.
Rios is still a noob, and is not Soto's mandatory.
Soto has already said he'll fight Rios after he fights Antillon in a rematch.
There's is no reason why Rios cant wait 6-8 months, unless the 24 year old Rios is retiring this year.

It was Peterson that ducked Soto.
Peterson ran to the WBA to avoid fighting for Soto's WBC title.
Since Peterson last fought, in Sept, he hasnt opened his mouth, about wanting to fight Soto, cause he never wanted to fight Soto.
Both Rios and Peterson are two inexperienced overrated contenders that are easy "lunch" for Soto.
But Soto is trying to bait bigger fish like JMM, MAB, Pac into fighting him, cause theyre all scared of him.
If Soto fights Rios now, Soto will brutalize him and KO him viciously, and then it will hurt Soto's career, cause Soto wont get the big fights he wants, cause the big names will duck him even more.

Rios doenst know how to use lateral movement and move around the ring.
Rios will be an easy "sitting duck" for Soto's bombs.
But Soto doesnt want to show-off his true arsenal now, cause he doesnt want to scare th big names into not fighting him, since they've been ducking him for years.
Rios' inexperience rugged style is "tailor-made" for Soto's punches.
Rios would be an easy "punching bag" for Soto.
