I dont understand all the hate for Amir Khan

I was actually rooting for marcos maidana to upset the apple cart & beat amir khan but khan's resilience, heart, & most definitely his chin won him the fight and gained immense respect from me as a boxing fan. I dont get all this hate for him. He really showed the true heart of a champion in there against a murderous puncher in Maidana. That fight will just make khan a much better fighter physically, mentally, & strategically.

Because he has the worst fans in the sport. It's like, are they really boxing fans? Or do they just wanna suck his ****.

HINT: They just want to suck his ****.

He won the biggest fight of his career to this point, in a gutsy performance that was probably FOTY. Certain people like to hate on that kind of success. I for one was impressed, I wasn't sold on Amir before last night but he showed me something. Needs to polish up some things, but I'm sure Roach will be on that.

Truth is, a limited fighter like Maidana should have been lightwork for Khan...he had a good performance, not great.

fans? i barely see any hardcore amir khan fans on this site or any boxing site for that matter. they cant be worse than the manny floyd fans. those 2 by far are the worst.

he could have won 120-108 and he still wont get his respect. too many maidana fans sold they house and bet on maidana by KO 5.5-1 odds and lost....and now they mad simple as that

Truth is earlier in the year ppl were saying he was ducking maidana. Hes fought 3 strong fighters each with a different style since moving to 140. Hes done an excellent job.

If u were to describe to someone who didn't see the fight, what would u say? I've read a lot of people praising his heart, gaining respect for him and his chin, etc. Now take a moment and realize how low the bar has been set for his fans to root for him. Just because he didn't get knocked out he's good? I'm not hating, I just don't think he's that good. He's the one who got beat up last night, not Marcos. He's the one that fought in survival mode, not Marcos. So to take his performance and start praising him like he did something grand is ridiculous.
