Didnt catch the fight last night but watching the replay right now. 7 rounds in and cortez is a horrible ref. for real is in gb's pocket or roach's? Khans outclassing maidana but i think i would have decked out cortez if he got in my face like that. and who does khan think he is " i can beat mayweather and pacquiao" get out of here.

All I know is that cortez is the worst ref in Nevada by far. There always seems to be a fighter (the aggressive one in the fight) who he simply picks on.

On that note he did not deter the fight from being a great one. Both guys performed very well and overcame a lot.

Maidana rallied at the end and khan certainly gassed but he won the fight. Hes just a better boxer than maidana but cortez is still a lousy ref.
