Believe it or not I have actually seen that fight. Shane hit him flush twice the whole night. Floyd was hurt for about....what, maybe 10 seconds max? Why do kids always bring that round up like any other fighter in that position would have been able to KO Floyd. He's the hardest guy to hit in the sport.

Khan loses on every level vs Floyd. do you think Khan would beat Pac? that is a better question right now. because if you don't then why would you think he can even win a round against Floyd.

Don't get me wrong I hate Floyd right about now, but the man's skills can't be denied. I think Floyd would put that chinny **** away if they met. A slow, unskilled Maidana had him out on his feet, imagine what a world class fighter would do with him?

Khan did OK considering people were saying that he would get murdered by Maidana. You probably was one of those people.

That said, Khan needs to improve on certain areas. Mainly his defense but also his offensive plan.

Defensively he, at times, looked lost and appeared unsure of himself. Especially when Maidana had him in the ropes. He also couldn't defend against that uppercut if his life depended on it. Also, while he did answer questions about his chin by taking on the puncher Maidana, I don't think that he completely answered that question.

Offensively, he has so much natural talent that he sometimes forgets what he needs to do. The best example is, why he went away from throwing body shots when it worked so well? Why not mix his punches instead of always go head-hunting?

For those who are complaining, they need to realize that Maidana is no slouch and this was a very good learning experience. With Roach, they can go back and fix a few things. Now it's up to Khan if he is able to fix his faults.

Is he ready for Floyd? Of course not because he still needs to move up to 147lb and fix certain areas BUT he does have natural talent that would give Floyd trouble. Khan's speed is insanely fast. If Khan's progression happens then Floyd would have trouble against a 147lb Khan. This is still to be seen and premature at this point.

He has the offense, tools, and style to outbox this version of Mayweather with less explosion. I don't think he has the defense and chin for it though.
