All those guys would overhaul him

i'd go with a non overhaul type trainer

maidana is a natural born killer
god put him on the planet to knock guys out and bring big checks home

ronnieshields and roger bloodworth in a collabo
          oldschool stinky gym type trainers

get him some good sparring and padwork to fix his balance and maybe impliment some speed oriented offense (punches that arent designed to deliver a man from consciousness just arent in his repetoire, and they ought to be)

the difference between the result maidana earned last night and a referee stoppage is minute.
for a guy w/ 27 knockouts he's not the most polished finisher
he's just a finishing type puncher and clearly a monster at heart

          a half a step back
          a few straight punches
or some short stuff around that guard
if he were to impliment any little adjustments that allow those punches to land
and joe cortez stops that fight (or amir goes unconscious, take your pick)

          credit to amir, though

he's a heart on his sleeve type boxer
          always has been

would love to see him tangle w/bradley and alexander so we see somet stuff at higher speeds

but any match at the top at 140 is a fOTY canidate

I'd like to see a fellow Argentinan(Martinez) take him under his camp and have his trainer take Maidana under their wings
