I'm some what glad Marquez wasn't the man in the ring with Khan as I feel he would have capitalized and more than likely had Khan out of there by the 11'th round due to the vulnerability of Khan. Marquez - Khan was close to going through at one point, but my god, this fight would been disastrous.

JMM would of killed the Khan we seen last night. Khan was hit very easily by a guy no one would consider a great precision puncher. Lump that in with the counter punching and JMM's ring iq I think Khan woulda been toast. Khan has a ton of potential and can improve in all facets of the game but he is showing signs that he still is not at the top level.

Like he outboxed the one dimensional Maidana? Khan cannot stick to gameplans and gets extremely careless in the process. Maidana was teeing off at will dude, despite him being the better technican.

Marquez has far more tools than Maidana and would have gave him hail last night.

I could debate that Marquez is a more deadly puncher than Maidana. The angles and the pinpoint accuracy make JMM one of the best punchers in the game.
