I just went back and watched the replay for Tarver vs Johnson II in Memphis. I was ringside for this fight in the vicinity of the HBO broadcast team. After the fight was over, Tarver came over to where Jones was sitting and they exchanged some choice word but I couldn't make out what they were. Jones took off his microphone and they got into it. I was just watching the fight replay and they didn't show it on HBO but it would've made for an interesting story. While the camera was on Johnson after the fight, you could overhear Tarver in the background saying "I'm tough as hell Roy" and then you hear the sound of Roy's headset coming off. Then they cut back to Tarver and his head is coming out from between the ropes from jawing with Roy. Missed opportunity for a great piece of buildup to the rubbermatch.
