Roy is easily the best current boxing commentator. He makes the fights much more enjoyable to me. He adds a knowledgeable perspective and entertaining and spot on commentary.

Larry Merchant had another speaking engagement to attend so he cut it short ..... just guessing because that was really strange stuff by Larry!

Jim Lampley, Rich Marotta, Max Kellerman only in the Post fight interview, Nate Cambell is a good talker also.

I agree....Roy has a keen eye for the happenings inside the ring....its like he has inside info that Lamp, Merch, Max, or Manny Steward don't have....just like Tarver on Showtime....he adds creditbility to the commentation....I always said fighters and ex-fighters make better commentators than those who NEVER laced them up...thats my opinion....HBO did the right thing by bringing Roy back....they was losing credibility imo
