Khan was on his bike 50 percent of the fight. I will give him credit for the brilliant KD. But I was clueless to why he didn't punish the body of Maidana the rest of the fight. Cortez also gets credit for ****ing up the fight by deducting a point for a phantom elbow and allowing khan to excessively hold.

What's funny is that they call it footwork, footwork is what I saw Nov 13, this was straight running.

Khan/Maidana was a very good fight. But seriously, the people ranking it FOTY must not have watched Soto/Antillon.

That brawl was awsome, most of these guys are "front runners" who only watch boxing when Floyd, Pac or freddie roach is on tv.

I think Khan-Maidana is being overrated as a FOTY. Just like Kessler-Froch was overrated as a FOTY.

Like I said in other threads I am not sure that Khan-Maidana was even fight of the night let alone fight of the year.

Not saying it wasn't a good fight. But, just not FOTY IMO.

Khan-Maidana FOTY. Boxer with apparently no chin ****** with p4p the hardest puncher in boxing and did not go down. Whilst the brawler got hit with one of the meanest body shots of the year in the first round. He survived and came back to almost knockout the champ...

Watch it everyday till the end of the year and you still wont understand how the King did not fall to his Knees.

That's what I told someone guy at the beggining of this thread, he started saying some dumb stuff. I wasn't trying to take away from the fight, but just like said, that wasn't even the best fight that night.

So I asked him if he had seen Mares vs Darchinyan which was a better fight. Probably a Khan superfan.

This right here. Khan maidana was a good fight but still not fight of the year. I think the best fight i watched was marquez kats but the ref should of let marquez finish of kats. That would of be icing on the cake.
