To clarify, Alex's style is actually made for Bradley. Not just his style, but his young and hungry side to impress will mean Bradley, who IMO has a lot of experience and composure will kick his ass for 12 rounds. I did feel Bradley was ducking Alexander, but I also always said Bradley can beat him and I was a fan. You see, Bradley has great condition, a good chin and heart, bundles of it, and I can;t see him etting stopped, and I can't see him losing more than 6 rounds IMO either.
Khan would jab Alexander's ass to death too. His style and lack of a powerful jab let's him down.
Alexnader is just not accurate enough.
I have only seen him from Witter onwards, so forgive me for any info and comments I do wrong.
Now, neither will have faced anyone as good as each other, and I put Alexander on a good level, but below Khan. Bradley, if he beats Alex will have the much better resume for sure, and it will tell me something of him. The fight will come soon, and it depends on how the fight happens for me to judge.
This fight with Khan and Maidana showed me what I always feared as a Khan fan, his chin. I have seen him since 2004 Olympics and he is always shaky when hit, but he has slowly, and still needs to improve his defence, however, he also showed me one thing which I thought did improve at 140, his chin.
Khan has fought guys who haven't had great pucnhes, some could box and have speed. He has fought boxers, brawlers and done pretty well bar 1 fight.
Bradley has fought tougher guys who can box, brawl and he even had a go at 147.
Anyway let's try and get a break down.
Speed: Both are fast, both throw a lot and have good combo's.
He showed that he can tag anyone from out of range within split seconds. His combo's are fast but maybe a little too Calzaghe like. However they help win you rounds.
His jab wasn't on show too much this time a round, but when he uses it, it works well. His jab is going to be the key in the future for sure but I recall Roach telling Khan in training not to double the jab this fight. Maybe it wasn't too smart.
Bradley is no slow guy himself, he has pretty fast hands, and combo's too. Bradley has a quick right hand when he gets close, and this is the shot I love the msot from him. He angles it and it's ahrd to see and damn accurate.
I put Khan on A grade this time, moving up from A-.
I have Bradley on A-
Accuracy:
Both have a fairly high workrate. Both have good stamina and throw a lot, but this does decrease their accuracy. When they both pot shot, it's very high indeed, these helps them win rounds.
When they throw combo's, it can get a little wild.
Khan has very sharp straight shots, while Bradley has kind of hooking shots.
Khan A-
Bradley A-
Power
Now both have decent snap, and their speed makes their shots hurt. Neither hit like bulls, however you can not dismiss their power. They have power to drop people for sure, and I don't think the power will affect either though.
Both can drop each other on the speed and shots they don't see, but both have what it takes to take each others power.
Khan has more power IMO, but just. Bradley has not stopped anyone for a long time.
Khan B-
Bradley B
Offense: Both are fairly offensive and sue some defense, but offense is what they excel in.
Khan, when on the attack, is very fast, throws nice straight ahnds and some to the body. He uses his legs to get in range and throws a few combo's and move. He has very good ability to attack from out of range ebcause he has such long arms.
He breaks people down, and after so many shots, they are tired.
As for Bradley, he otuworks a lot of people, he can potshot a little, but his main success is close up where his wide shots always hit the body or head. His body work and inside game is very good.
Khan is predictable with his jab, but it's hard to defend, Bradley is rpedictable with his right, he sues his left and always try and find range to land that right, and it's fairly obvious. However his counter right is lovely.
Khan A
Bradley A
Defence: Neither of these guys have great defences, mainly because they both like to push the fight and control it.
Khan has been holding his hands up, but still it leaves a target because he doesn't move. Not great when Bradley is someone who will happily throw wild shots into you and that ill help him win the rounds. He tried using the shoulder roll a few times but it needs work. His duckikng under and getting out of range is decent.
Bradley has his gloves up, but leaves a big gap in the middle, not great VS someone faster than you who loves the straight shots. He has been tagged by Holt before because he squares up and gets wild. He does have good body movement though.
Both have holes, but I am going to go with Bradley
B+ because he slips and makes you miss slightly more
Khan B- he needs to use more head and body movement if he is going to stand there with his hands up and not throw back
Footwork
Both are very hard workers in the gym and when training. Both have good footspeed, and good footwork. Nothing special.
B+ for both. Khan uses mroe footwork to get out, Bradley to stay close and outwork.
Chin Bradley has never been stopped, and he can get buzzed, but he is tough.
Khan had a weak chin, and 140 seems to be a good weight with the better conditoning. Maidana is a KO puncher and did hurt him.
Holt aint a great puncher but if he lands, hurts. Abregu or whatever had a high KO ratio, Bradley handled it.
Maidana is a great puncher, and did hurt Khan. Paulie mMalliagi is a great KO puncher and Khan took his best shots and got wet in the shower.
Bradley A-
Khan B+
Heart
Both get up or try to. Both have taken some ahrd shots, fast shots and always try to win. These guys have big hearts and that can not be questioned.
I am going to give both
A grade.
Khan tried to get up VS Prescott even though he was ****ed. Bradley got up from Holt 2 times from memory. They are both game prize fighters.
Experience
Bradley is odler and has taken more bigger name fighters.
Some of them after haven't showed us they are good anymore as we thought such as Witter, Nate Campbell, Cherry, Holt and Peterson, but still a good resume. Him and Alex will also be a mega fight.
Khan has fought an old Barrera, Kotelnik, Malliagi and Maidana. OK resume also, but not the best.
Both have got good experience and the limelight won't faze them.
Bradley A+ (After Alex)
Khan A -
Timing Both can coutner, Bradley more so, both can time a fighter.
B+ both.
Athletiscim and body
Khan has a tall frame, long arms and high stamina. He is strong and fast. His chin has improved and he is really going to be dangerous now. His legs and reflexes are good too.
Bradley is slightly shorter, stocky top half, thin legs, but he is athletic, works and trains ahrd, becomes a vegan, and has high workrate and stamina. His upper body is strong and has good reflexes.
Khan has a tall frame, long arms and high stamina. He is strong and fast. Apart from his chin, he has a really good body for boxing.
Now both have speed, snap, athletism, stamina, workrate, accracy, skills. Both are really good fighters, and hungry.
Can Bradley's inside game and workrate control Khan and make him uncomfortable? Can that right hand land and land?
Or can Khan's jab and footwork make Bradley go wild and miss, and get him hit right down the middle and dropped?
I personally feel it is a 50/50.
Both can neutralise each other, but I am sticking by my boy Khan to win by 1 or 2 rounds in a very messy, but close fight. I can see Khan running trying to get distance and missing some shots, and Bradley running in wild with his wide shots trying to put on the pressure.
KHAN TO WIN BY SD OR 1 OR 2 ROUNDS UD.
Khan would jab Alexander's ass to death too. His style and lack of a powerful jab let's him down.
