Maidana was never obliged to touch up, the ref makes you do that before proceedings. Khan should have learnt from the incident in the first round that Maidana wasn't up for it and if you offered it him he was gonna use it as a chance to catch you off guard.

I enjoyed the round 1 "snub and punch" by Maidana. His persona and fighting style are based one his 'killer instinct', that's who he is...

However, what I didn't particulary like from Maidana was his constant putting his hands down below his waist and posing for Khan. That's amateurish and a good way to get KTFO.
