KO ratio means jack sqaut. Look at who they fought. Vitali hasn't beaten a fighter the calibre of Gregorio Peralta yet! George Chuvalo would've knocked Vitali out as well . . .

we have to first find out what it takes in a fighter to really BEAT VK. to KO him where he doesn't know where he is..

Foreman was not particularly skillfull and not particularly devastating (only 85% or so KO rate in his wins). Vitaliy is very skillful (he did outbox Lennox) and has 97% KO rate.

Vitaliy would have defeated George in both of his comings.
keep in mind that foremans level of comp was much higher then VK's.

lets see how his % is after 42 more fights. with good comp.

in 1988 george had 59 wins with 56 by ko. the other 5 dec came at the very end of his career. also at 59 wins he only had 2 losses, the same as VK has now.

                  good info.

56/59= 94% Ko Rate (Sanders has about the same I believe)
vs. 97% Ko Rate for Vitaliy

No doubt it would have been a great match.

It would all hinge on his ability to either absorb or dodge Forman's BOMBS...
