Maidana would woop Ortiz in a rematch

Judging from last night's performances I would have to give it to Maidana in the rematch.

Ortiz looked like he lost the hunger to make it to be elite.

Do people really think Ortiz has a chance now?

I agree the kid has a lot of good tools, in fact everything you need physically to be elite. But something is missing mentally, and I think he will lose a rematch with maidana. Maybe they should throw him in there to see if he reacts, id love to see him do well cos he's a good kid, maybe he can prove people like me wrong, but I don't think so. He can't out gun maidana, and he isn't the best fighter moving backwards

I was hoping Ortiz would make a big statement in his fight.

He has all the tools to make it far, just not sure if he's there mentally.

Maidana hasn't got better or worse, he's pretty much the same fighter as he was when fighting Ortiz. Ortiz on the other hand, follow up a great performance with a really crappy one. If he really was the fighter GBP is making him out to be, he should have asked for a rematch long time ago, its in the blood of a fighter ; to seek revenge for a loss but it seems that Ortiz is lacking in that department, his heart isnt there.
