Ortiz/Peterson Decision: You're welcome to email the WBA

I did. It won't do anything but it made me feel better.

Thanks. I'll e-mail them and thank them for legitimate scoring in a close fight (if they really have any influence in that).

E-mail them for what? I thought Ortiz won a close decision but it wasn't a robbery. Ortiz was running away too much so like Teddy Atlas said he lost the right to complain. The dude was eyeballing the clock on the screen to see how much longer he had to run.

Very clear robbery. Running doesn't matter if you're winning more rounds. Boxing scores are not anti-running if you out land and win rounds.

Ortiz did nothing for about 5 rounds of the fight. Absolutely nothing. Just because Harold Lederman giftwraps empty rounds for a fighter doesn't mean he actually won them.

Even if he did lose five rounds, it's a ten-rounder with a 10/7 round for him...Does that sound right to you?

No. Ortiz did nothing for 5 rounds, and I had him losing 2 close rounds. 7-3 rounds for Peterson minus 2 points for a 10-7 rounds equates to a 95-93 win for Peterson.

Meh, I have decent eyesight and watched it in HD on my big screen. I could see it fine, and so could the ringside judges.
