maidana got away with so much **** , rabbit punchin all nite elbows all nite.

another Ref and Khan cud av had a shut out.

Really that elbow never landed and it was Khan constantly clinching and turning his head that caused any rabbit punches that may have happened. He was winning clearly then got rocked once and decided to hold and run the rest of the fight.

Maidana basically got lucky with his wild looping punches. He was basically resigned to losing before that. He looked like he didn't even want to be there until he hurt him.

Gary Shaw and Timothy Bradley will want no part of Amir Khan after this. Khan would whoop that blackboy's ass. Devon Alexander is a step down from Marcos Maidana in my opinion. I suppose, shockingly, if Alexander wins then atleast Khan-Alexander would be on paper the top two Light Welterweights facing off. Victor Ortiz, don't make me laugh.

Amir should wait, fight the winner of Alexander-Bradley, then move up in weight ASAP. He has the frame for it. Andre Berto for the WBC title? C'mon! Khan would box head off, be harder to watch than Jeff Lacy vs. Joe Calzaghe imo. Who else is there? Khan vs. Paul Williams at Welterweight? Is Williams even relevent anymore? Joan Guzman? Much too small to be competetive against Khan. Providing Guzman doesn't fall off in the meantime. Would favour Khan's youth, speed and size against Juan Manuel Marquez. After watching the fight and just coming here It figures all the Khan haters would be full of excuses. You guys sound like Hattons fans crying after the Mayweather fight that the referee wouldn't let them fight inside. News flash, holding and hitting is not inside fighting. The guys were clearly tied up every time the ref pulled them apart. Khan deserves a lot of credit for not going down and coming back after that one round he was hurt so bad in. You guys seen an amazing performance by Khan and seen he has something deep down when he has to pull it out. He's not the china chin you cry babies claimed. Khan is the future of boxing, you cry babies lose because now you will have to cry for another 10 or 15 years.

Maidana was hurt far worse in there then Khan

I see what you are getting at, but you also should consider that Maidana was hurt late in the round and the break definitely helped him. Khan was hurt relatively early in round 10 and he was almost stopped. Some refs might have stopped the fight in the 10th, because Khan was not intelligently defending himself nor throwing punches. He was just getting battered about the ring. Personally, I think in a fight of this caliber a stoppage there would have been a bit premature. He was close to getting stopped though. Don't be delusional.

Great fight. Maybe a Career defining fight. Khan has alot to work on. He is one of this boxers that need to fight in the center of the ring use his jab and Han speed instead of laying on The ropes hands held high and taking pinch after punch. Maidana vs Ortiz is what I want to see for both fighters. And yes guys Maidana is a beast.
