Glad to See the Top 140-lbers Stepping Up

These guys want to be future stars, household names and to do that they have no choice but to take on challenges. After mulling over fights with Marquez and other smaller, past-their-prime stars, Khan stepped up to fight the hard-hitting Maidana and shut down the talk about him ducking Marcos and putting his career on the line and putting his questionable chin to the test. Bradley and Alexander are both young, undefeated, highly skilled fighters going head-to-head.

In this day and age of ducking and dodging and non-stop excuses, it's great to see guys put their chips down and accept challenges. As long as these guys and others make fights the fans want to see, the sport will be alive and well.

    Major Props to them

These are the fights worth paying for. These are the fights that SHOULD be making 30 million dollars. In a healthy sport that's what happens. Not in boxing, sad to say.

That's pretty much what Segura said after beating Ivan. The best truly want to put their skills up against the best. Respect when it gets done
