Boxing manager and trainer Adam Booth was impressed with James DeGale's nine round battering of British super middleweight champion Paul Smith on Saturday night at the Echo Arena in Liverpool. The title winning effort was the most impressive performance of DeGale's career. Even with the impressive win, Booth believes that his own super middleweight, George Groves, will still beat DeGale.

Smith was far too slow and didnt know how cut the ring off properly, nevertheless DeGale did his own job with all alot of illegal tactics.

I am pretty sure they would try to build up this fight for a big UK showdown way down the road.

But, I would love for them to fight sometime in 2011...I think it would be great for both. And, I like it when prospects fight each other. It rarely happens nowadays.

Adams interview was awful, he didn't look convinced at all in the words he was saying. After that fight I'm swaying towards a Degale win.....even though I like Groves and detest Degale.

BTW FTF Was that Bellew-McKenzie stoppage about.....ridiculous!
