Manny Pacquaio is the so called Cash Cow now then why cant he sell a Marquez fight. If Manny made 20-25 mil off his last fight then he should make close to the same or more fighting Marquez. FLOYD and Marquez sold a miilion and they have no history. FLOYD can sell a fight but Manny vs Marquez would be great for boxing and it gives Manny a chance to shut Marquez up once and for all. 5 million is nothing to pay for a fighter of Marquez's caliber. It could be a big event for Arum if he put Khan/Madina winner vs Bradley/Alexander winner and top it off with Gamboa vs Lopez. Golden Boy fighters or not good card.

I really dont understand how Pac doesnt get criticized for ducking Marquez and why the public gives hum a pass. I havent heard HBO commentators chopping him down like they did Floyd at every opportunity. Pac should fight the 140 pounders and Marquez not weight drained slower fighters. Mosley is done IMO. I think he can catch Pac a couple of shots but his stamina at this age is suscpect.

The simple fact is that Pac doesn't feel that he has unfinished business with Marquez. He has moved on since their last fight and achieved much more than he ever hoped to dream. For him, Marquez belongs to the past.

It is only Marquez who is still stuck in the past, dreaming of what might have been. He had two chances to clearly prove who was the better man, yet failed. No t-shirt is gonna alleviate that feeling of loss. He tried to emulate Pac's achievements by going up in division, but ran into a brick wall.

Pac really has no reason to give Marquez a payday, especially since Marquez betrayed his hospitality years ago. Pac also doesn't see any obligation on his part to give Marquez any favor by meeting him at a lower weight. The fight will only happen if Marquez realizes this and accepts what is offered to him.
