running smack can make or break a fight and in many cases, make or a break a fighters reputation. here's a start list of fighters past and present who i feel personify the good and bad aspects of this manly art.
GOOD
mohammed ali (the king)
bernard hopkins (trash talk at it's best)
james toney (interchangeable with hopkins)
alexis arguello (gracious, respecful and a true gentleman)
BAD
roy jones (talking in third person doesn't make you sound humble)
floyd mayweather jr. (badass wannabe)
oscar de la hoya (a candy ass but in defeat he sounds genuine)
sonny liston (duh only sounds good for a few seconds)
john "the quiet man" ruiz (when he talks......pleeeeeeeez)
chime in with your favorites
thank you all who replied to my last thread on boxer nicknames.
