But most people who get hurt by Marcos (27 out of 29) get knocked the **** out, but Amir hung in there in a very gutsy performance. Does he have things to work on? Of course, again he's only 24, he's only going to get better, as he has since hooking up with Roach. It's silly to say that he's peaked or has a low ceiling because he got rocked by the hardest puncher in his class and still won.

And I'm saying this as someone who's not even that big a fan of Khan. I was impressed with his work in the early rounds and his ability to will himself to the finish line despite being a dead man in the 10th.
Augustus had no power, if he did Mayweather would have fought him different.

Yeah it's called: LEARNING HOW TO JAB and also CLINCH.

Aside from that, Freddie did a good job in training him in his quasi-Pacquiao flush punches/combinations.

Great performance by Khan, besides of course getting rocked in the 10th. He proved something by taking those shots and surviving, although at the same time showed he can still be pretty vulnerable.

After seeing Khans performance tonight there is no doubt in my mind he would beat mayweather. Mayweather does not hit as hard as Maidana. Khan has better hand speed and footwork. Khan would win by UD easy.

All about styles/matchups. I think Khan beats both Bradley and Alexander by wide, easy UDs. It would be similar to his Malignaggi bout IMO. He's too big and fast for those guys and neither has anything resembling Maidana's power or pressure to bother him, he'd dance around both all night.

didn't an old shot Demarcus Corley nearly beat Maidana??

I love El Chino......he's got big brass balls, but he wouldn't win a single round against Floyd Mayweather. At this stage Khan would win the first two rds, then lose the last 10, or get stopped late.

Bradley's fought at higher weights and i see him as being very durable. Your point is well taken though, Khan may very well prove to be the best at 140.
