Comments Thread For: De La Hoya: Klitschko-Haye is Not a Fight, It's an Event!

Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya told BoxingScene.com that he's going to try his best to put together a heavyweight unification between champions Wladimir Klitschko and David Haye. Klitschko had been scheduled to defend his titles later tonight, in Germany, against undefeated British champion Dereck Chisora. On Wednesday, Klitschko suffered an abdominal injury that forced him to withdraw from the fight. Klitschko will require at least 4 to 6 weeks to recover. De La Hoya, who co-promotes Haye, believes the door is now wide open to make Klitschko-Haye happen.

Damn right you are de la hoy! It will be an event that will exist only in boxing fans' minds. Unless you can do something about it and that his give Haye a "Good Pair" of what he needs to take on the fight. Right now, all he's got is his blabber mouth and his resume' that only his mother can be proud of.

It's going to happen Wlad faked the injury so he can finally get his hands on Haye. We know he would do anything to get his hands on Haye at this point.
