is a WW that draws against a jr MW is a more competitive fight for another WW than a LW who was knocked-down by an aging, over the hill LW's leftovers?

Well no ****. Anyone in Pacquiao's position would do the same thing. It's cherry picking.

The fact is Marquez sure is asking for a 5mill purse, but the reward would be great. Like I said, Sold out MGM grand, 1.5mill homes easy. The problem is, it's a risky fight for Pacquiao and he just doesn't wanna admit it. I lol'd at "People don't want to see the Marquez fight" yet they want to see Mosley somehow. It's a joke and he knows it, he doesn't wanna lose. Instead he'll build his resume and finally go for one big pay day against Floyd and retire.

I must concur, JMM's sole attempt at fighting above 135 lbs was a disaster.

Care to explain? Both Diaz and Mora aren't usually known to Casual fans.
these are not the numbers I asked you to compare.

so you are backing away from your prior position where if jmm were to lower his guarantee to at or below what mosley is asking for you would still not fight jmm?

Mayweather vs. Mosley had history. Mayweather vs. Marquez did not.

According to the media, Mayweather was ducking Shane for years. Thus it brought interest to the fight. People have been wanting to see this fight for years. Marquez was just Mayweather's return fight. It had no history at all. The hype was all around "Mayweather is back".

De La Hoya vs. Mosley 1 did 500k. It was a close fight and people thought De La Hoya won, which made the rematch much greater because both of these guys had HISTORY. The 2nd fight did 950k.

Like I said, Marquez is the bigger fight plain and simple because of one thing. HISTORY. Denying it just proves you're highly lacking in business skills.

Is that happening now? No. Stop making up make believe questions. The reality is Marquez is a bigger fight now, plain and simple. He deserves the 5mill, and a part of the PPV revenue because this is a BIG fight.

The excuses people make are hilarious. "He's overpricing himself" No he's not. It would be a bigger fight than Cotto vs. Pacquiao for sure. Cotto asked for what exactly? 4MILL? What's wrong with 5mill when YOU KNOW it's gonna be a bigger fight.

The problem is Pacquiao doesn't wanna take the risk.
