Yeah, yeah I've heard it before.....Montiel is gonna lose, he is gonna get stomped and what not.....it's all too familiar to me but just like I've said it time and time again, Montiel is an elite fighter, 3 division champ, great and severely underrated boxing skill, great power, excellent defense, fast, smart, and with tons of experience against top tier opposition.
Donaire is the flavor of the month that looks good against sub-par opposition.Comment

But you must see the talent Donaire has.
He freakishly fast and powerful.
Great reflexes.
But again, Hes never been hit by a powerful 118 fighter before.
That's the X factor for me.
I will be pulling for Montiel.Comment

I guess it makes me mad to see that people hardly ever give Montiel respect and underrate him all the time despite him beating good opposition. I mean he went to Japan and brutally KTFO of the champ that seemed invincible at the time. And even after that people still failed to recognize Montiel as the great fighter that he is.
If Donaire beats him I will definitely give him props and will not hide or make excuse like many did for Hasegawa, but if Montiel beats him I hope people finally respect him and recognize him as the great champion that he is.Last edited by -ELO-; 12-11-2010, 12:09 AM.Comment
