Khan said he was trying to knock out Prescott a amature move that night.
Make sense to as he was loading up too early.if you get flushed throwing and you are tight and will get rocked.

Can Khan hurt Maidana enough to keep him off him? Victor Ortiz couldn't, and hes heavier handed than Khan is IMO. It's a good style matchup. This fight is more dangerous for Khan than it is for Marcos, considering Marcos can end it with one punch at any moment.
        good post

if maidana head hunts all night he will be in trouble eating that jab.

but if he asserts himself to the body and works up then khan will be out

like a fat kid in dodgeball

dont be fooled, khan will be on his bicycle early in the fight its in the back of

his mind he doesnt want to get knocked the fuuuuuck out all over again,

that knockout will never leave him, ever.

marcos needs to go to the body and with over hand rights following. but not

        be predictable

sooo hope khan gets ktfo, cant stand his big mouth

If Khan magically turns into a big puncher over night after not being one, I'll be raising at an eye brow at Freddy Roaches methods for training. That would be a little too weird to see Maidana fold to of all people Khan.

Khan's already the biggest guy fighting on tomorrow's card and he's the only one that DOESN'T' have his cheeks caved in looking like he needs a meal, he looks beyond comfortable making weight.

I think Khan's got this under control.

He will know that this is all about technical acumen, execution, and the ability to stick to a game plan.

But it could also come down to his ability to take a punch, and it could also come down to his will to get up off the floor and fight.

This is one of the most intriguing match-ups in a while.

It should be a great fight.

Maidana will find himself technically out-matched in this one, but he can swing the fight with either hand, as long as he is on his feet Maidana will always have a chance, and he has shown that he can fight when he's hurt.

If Maidana doesn't have a gameplan to work the body he's ***ed.

Best of luck to both guys, really lookin forward to this fight.

Good post. One of Khan's advantages will be a disadvantage in this fight. Khan fans like to point out that Maidana won't get anywhere near Khan's chin because of his high guard, but they're forgetting Maidana is a very good body puncher. Maidana has more options than people think and he's gonna create opportunities.

I just can't see Khan being able to simultaneously protect his chin and his body the whole night AND pitch a shutout as some people claim he'll do without slipping up at some point somewhere.
