That fight is way over hyped imo. I didn't see either fighter land that many clean and meaningful punches. Fight should've been a draw imo.

In most respectable list that I have seen. Leonard is in the top 15 ATG's.

I mean he is pretty high on people ATG lists.

And, really Leonard didn't duck Pryor, if anybody ducked it was the Pryor the one who ducked Leonard since Pryor was the one who turned down the fight when it was offered not Leonard.

Again just cuz you call out somebody in the media doesn't mean you're serious about fighting that person.

I've never seen him NOT ranked in the top 10...

Leonard won. Coming back after 3 years, moving up 2 divisions to face arguably the greatest middleweight of all time is truely awesome. The best of the many great wins Leonard had.

Really? Well then I stand corrected, but most lists I've seen have around the 15 mark like Jro pointed out, which is great, but I really don't see a reason not to put him in the top 10.

Had his win over Hagler been more convincing, I'd go as far as to put him in the top 5, but that's my bias opinion.

I made a thread and ran down Ali's best wins which were Liston, Frazier, Norton, and Foreman and if you look at those names and compare them to Benitez, Duran, Hearns, and Hagler, it's pretty close and Ali is always in people's top 3.

True Ali was past his prime when he beat Foreman and that sure as hell counts for alot, because Foreman was a damn monster who destroyed Frazier and Norton with ease, but Leonard was no spring chicken when he fought Hagler and I think it was considered upset of the year.

if you believe he won the fight yes many don't

on paper his best win probably was Hagler for all the reasons you just said however I believe his win over Hearns in their first fight was his greatest achievement

Even though it was not asked I think Kalule was his most underrated win. Kalule was a good JMW champion and nobody mentions that win for Leonard.

And, IMO Duran is the greatest fighter since Ali.
