berto's a joke. He had an opportunity to fight Shane mosley and priced himself out. I honestly think he is content making 900k to fight bums.

Berto was set to fight Mosley. He pulled out when the quake hit Haiti.

If Alvarez can make it to 147, then that'd be a very interesting match-up.

But if we're talking about the big picture, if he beats Collazo, and Jones, it's not going to do much toward landing him a fight with the big dogs. Because outside of the hardcore fans, not many people know Collazo and Jones.

If he wants to get his name out there, and move on to bigger and better things, he should start pursuing someone like Cotto.

Personally, I wouldn't mind the fight with Khan, but that's just me.
I agree a fight with Collazo or Jones does nothing for Dre imo. How many people know who they are? He will get 0 credit for beating either guy. The only viable option I see at WW is Clottey. Cintron looked ok in his three and a half rounds vs Williams before jump gate. No matter who he fights I have the feeling that he will get no credit. I'm not even really a Berto fan, but I don't understand all the hate for this guy.

Speaking of Alvarez, who has he fought, Baldomir? Yet Alvarez gets a free pass and people rip Dre. I get the feeling that Dre receives so much hate, especially around here because he's black.

So we comparing a prospect to a world title holder?
