Comments Thread For: Andre Berto Targeting Khan-Maidana, Bailey-Ouali Winners

BoxingScene.com was advised by promoter Lou DiBella that unbeaten WBC welterweight champion Andre Berto will be an interested party in the outcomes of two key fights in the next two days. It's become obvious to DiBella that his boxer will not land a fight with WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao on April 16 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Berto is one of three fighters being considered to face Pacquiao on the April date. Shane Mosley is the frontrunner to land the fight and Juan Manuel Marquez would be the secondary option.

If Khan can tuck in his chin, he'll outbox Berto.

Yeah, this isn't a fight I could shit on. Khan is obviously bigger than the average Jr WW, he even said that he sees himself ending his career at Jr MW. Khan's more than capable.

Watching Berto's KO of Hernandez again and again, and watching his earlier fights, I saw something that might not make Berto, himself, too happy with how he goes about his business. When he delivers a big shot with one hand, he very significantly lowers the other. He may want to do something about that.
