    Best Power Punching Heavies

This thread is for just heavy-handed heavyweights. Some of the all time greatest punchers never captured the title, some did. Here's my list:

    1. George Foreman, without a doubt the strongest, most super-naturally powerful puncher in history.

    2. Mike Tyson, He had many faults, but pure power wasn't one of them. In the mid 80's he was a murderous puncher.

    3. Gerry Cooney, Some of you will probably laugh at this number three pick, but he knocked guys out of the ring. George Foreman said he was the hardest puncher he had ever faced.

    4. Joe Louis, he had so much more than just power, he is often overlooked as a devastating puncher.

    5. Ron Lyle, a truly menacing person that could almost match Big George Foreman toe to toe.

    6. Jack Dempsey, 50 KO's in 61 fights is tough to argue with.

    7. Max Baer, one dimensional, but actually killed people with the right hand.

    8. Rocky Marciano, Dynamite came in a small package.

    9. Ernie Shavers, quite possibly should be rated higher than number 9. Just ask Ali.

    10. Joe Frazier, possessed a loaded left hook.

    11. Jack Johnson, a big man for his era had the big gun.

    12. Ike Ibeabuchi, too bad he's in prison

    13. David Tua, he could make a career on MetRex strong man competition. He has knocked off a few beards.

How could you leave Mike Tyson off that list. He is arguably the hardest hitting heavyweight of all time. I think Foreman is....but let me bring up my old poll.

I think foreman had the heaviest arms and tysons power came mostly from his legs.
