If Montiel wins in his coming fight, it should be as vicious, or more convincing than Donaire last fight!

Granting that Montiel wins, he would be facing a very talented and I will call him "The Slick Filipino-American Boxer!"

Donaire fighting style will remind you of Sugar Ray Leonard, Ali, and even Floyd Jr.

I have to say, I think Donaire beats Montiel. Montiel all while good, I think is too small. I will be rooting for Montiel. But more than likely betting on Donaire. How can you say that 126 is his real division while he just fought once in bantamweight? Just because a guy is taller than his opponents doesnt mean he belongs to a certain division. Just ask PWill.

After stopping Hasegawa in four rounds, Montiel scored a third-round knockout in July over the guy that gave Donaire problems for a full 12 rounds.

He's already been more impressive.

Montiel/Donaire is a toss up imo, I'm glad this one is finally happening though. I believe "power" will determine who wins.

If Fernando finds ways to get to Donaire without stepping in with his left foot outside Donaire's right without Donaire being able to step back while letting go with that powerful left hook, then, we shall have a good fight.
He did that no less than five times against Hasegawa and about the same number of times against Castillo. That's a move that Donaire can exploite.

Montiel is Kryptonite to a guy like Donaire. He is very tough to hit and fights well going backwards. Nonito should come right into him and that's dangerous. He could put himself in trouble.

I am not a fan of Montiel and his style but it gets W's against guys who come forward.
