According to was-online.de, former WBO title challenger Eduard Gutknecht (19-1, 8 KOs) has signed an agreement with Berlin-based German promotional powerhouse Sauerland Event. Gutknecht, who debuted as a pro in May 2006 and have been fighting under Universum Box-Promotion aegis for more than four years, but will now be trained by the famous Ulli Wegner. Right now Gutknecht is in Kienbaum, preparing for his next fight, set for a Feb. 26 tune-up in Bamberg, Germany.
