EA sports needs to put in A LOT of work in their boxing department. they dont do enough research or put enough effort into the games.

every time a new boxing game comes out from them its already outdated. i like FNR4 just because its a boxing game but theres no more replay value. theres nothing new i can do in the game.

The problem with the game is budget. EA have to negotiate directly with fighters and their reps (current boxers) and EA like to throw all there money on madden and Fifa games because they gross the most. Mayweather priced himself out of the last game (by 6 digits figures) .

I really wish they did the type of research that those guys at NBA 2k do as far as emulating their sport.

I swear in 2k10 &11 I notice player tendencies in the video game before I catch them in real life.

I could care less about the roster if they did the following:

Improved Face Cab so you could replicate a boxers face via scanning a photo. They have the right idea....just it could and should be a lot better.

More customization of things such as punch animations, boxers stances, style, tendancies, body types etc. If given the right setup....you really could create the perfect replication of fighters who aren't on the game. This is possible and instead of shelling out a ton of money, but adding this we can make the guys we want in this game.
