Is a puncher's chance all Maidana has going for him?

Given Khan's history and Maidana's heavy hands a puncher's chance is worth more in this fight than usual, but on paper and from a technical standpoint, Maidana is inferior in every aspect.

If Khan avoids that huge shot that will surely put him down, I expect a complete domination on his part.

everyone expects that = total domination.

but in this case (what wasn't the case in the Malignaggi fight) Maidana's power can change everything.

it will be interesting untill the last bell.

I like to give some fighters with power a benefit of the doubt sometimes, because sometimes I think people pay too much attention to the power not to notice the skills they possess.

Nah of course not, he's going to turn on some Sugar Ray Leonard esque over night & out box Amere Con with his superior hand speed to a unanimous decision.

            Yep.

The only round he wins is the round he knocks Khan out in. If he knocks Khan out.

I agree, but to be honest, I don't think it's going the distance. I think Khan is so much better than Maidana that if Maidana doesn't put him away in 8 rounds, Khan will stop him.

That's true, but in this particular case I think Maidana is outmatched in every single technical way.

I don't think Khan will finish Maidana, if Khan wins it's by UD

well it could be like Judah Matthyse where the perceived puncher gains momentum when the superior boxer starts slow

I doubt it but no one really thought that Lucas would win a round and he did more than that
