Comments Thread For: Klitschko To Choose From Haye, Chisora and Adamek

A company representative for Klitschko Management Group, Klaus-Peter Dittrich, has told Alexander Pavlov that British boxer Dereck Chisora is still being considered for Wladimir Klitschko's next fight. Klitschko, the WBO/IBO/IBF champion, was going to face Chisora this Saturday in Germany. He suffered an abdominal injury and withdrew from the contest on Wednesday. Dittrich says Klitschko will consider three names for his next fight, including Chisora, WBA champion David Haye and WBO mandatory Tomasz Adamek. Klitschko will require 4-6 weeks to heal his injury.

Wladimir probably did not like the idea of killing someone in the ring ! I think it was a nice think to do from the ukrainan monster :-)

something going on behind the scenes here, or else Wlad would just fight Chisora, not choose another opponent.

Definitely, something is going on behind the scene. Surely an immediate re-schedule with Chisora would be the normal thing to do under these circumstances????

It takes at least three months to properly promote a PPV card for Wlad/Haye. Plus they have to book an location and sign contracts.

Fighting Chisora would not effect any upcoming fight plans Wlad has.

It's also not how K2 does business.

Chisora was just a stay busy fight for Wlad, and now that they may have had a breakthrough with David Haye, Wlad might have bigger fish to fry.

I don't think Wlad will immediately reschedule the fight with Chisora. But if Chisora stays busy and keeps winning he'll get his shot sometime next year.

wlad vs haye gota be in works at the moment.

if that fails ide imagine haye would get adamek over the klitschkos,

adamek would see haye as the easier fight, and the purse split would be better!.
they make a big money fight in america or the uk with his adameks fanbase in america and usa intrest in haye.
or uk polish community watching adamek and haye being big here now would make the fight sell well in the UK.

if not wlad first, then vitali, ide rather he took vitali first, but i see the sense in fighting wlad first.

wlad has more belts,is younger and seen as better with ring rated no 1 spot, but is weaker mentally and in chin department, also hates Haye more so it would be hyped up better.Imagine the 24/7!.

but if he faces and beat vitali first he beat the toughest biggest one out of the 2.
And that would probably freak wlad out knowing haye ****ed vitali up even with his better chin and being able to go toe to toe!

i gues anything can happen but i.m.o. klitschko should of course heal up on his injury and then as planned fight chisora then figh either haye or adamek after. or like someone said before if haye fights thomas then the winner of that fights klitschko
