Comments Thread For: Merchant Talks Donaire vs Montiel, Soto vs Rios, More

Merchant spoke very highly of the Jalisco native and even considered the idea of seeing the 20-year old face off with Manny Pacquiao in a year’s time if each man continues their winning ways.

It's one of the best fights in years.

Both are top dogs, young and in their primes.

young and at their primes? see this Arum, people want a good fight, not a one-sided circus where the other guy is old, over-the-hill has-been. Pac-Berto would've been that fight people would really salivate about. I wonder if there's a brave soul who will call the refusal to fight Berto ducking? Well, I'm that brave soul! Ducquaio!

            Merchant Mexiphobic speak:

"When you have as much quality in Mexico you're bound to get quality."

-->Not what he'd say about the quantity of 3 times more USA fighters<--

            Merchant Mexiphobic speak:

"Mexican fighters are aggressive because that's all they can do"

"Lamotta, Frazier, Graziano, Fenech, Dempsey were aggressive because they were brave"

This idiot is like the whore in a cheap **** novel-- you always know what's up his a*s!

the only possible scenario for montiel not getting knocked out is to avoid donaire...

montiel can beat darchinyan easy...but he has no chance against donaire...

                nonito got montiel's number...
