Not in a sense like "wow, he has in-ring movement that can one day be compared to Manny, and his defensive wizardry is like half of Mayweather".

No, not that way. But as in he's ONLY a face forward Abrahammer... not.

    I still suffer Arthur's loss.

Yeah that sucks, alot of people were sad about that because we all like to see fighters with power do some damage. This is boxing, we like to see knockouts. AA's performance in his last 2 fights were down right pitiful, I didn't even give him a round in any of his last 2 fights.

He's definitely more skilled than people say - most people think he's genuinely a slugger and that it. Most of these people haven't seen him fight and miss that he actually has decent footwork, quite fast hands, good stamina and high punch output (when properly trained) etc.

A lot of people read into his fights with people like Corley but fail to realise the circumstances surrounding the fight.

I don't think he's very skillful at all.

If this was an Amateur contest it would rsf 1 - winner: Amir Khan.

He'd accrue the 15 point lead that quickly.

i voted no, he's a slugger with power

thats all i have seen from him and a good heart..
i think khan has all the skills but maybe not the chin....if maidana beats khan then he has to get more credit for his boxing skills as khan is never going to engage this guy in a slugfest, so if he beats khan it will be because he has cut the ring off and battered khan, or khan couldnt keep focus and lost his way into maidanas game....all of those things deserve credit. but he is not in the same league skills wise as others in his division like bradley, alexander, khan, ortiz....but maybe he doesnt need to be if his power is the equalizer

i watched his fight against cayo last night and if that same fighter turns up i think khan will stop him and make him look so ordinary that most on boxingscene will be bagging him as a bum ...we wait and see guys

Well, we've all seen how Khan got put on ***** street even with headgear and massive gloves, so we could naturally assume that even in that situation Maidana would KO him with the same shot.

                    Definetely.

Maidana lands anything solid that gets arounds Amir's guard I will be expecting knees to buckle. I think he might be able to eat some jabs - but anything else, i'll be closing my eyes and expecting that once I open them Khan is scrabbling around on wooden legs or is on the canvas.

Indeed, Khan's overall durablility is LOW - we know he has a poor chin but also his body is weak as - i'm hoping Maidana will be hitting anything and everything he can. If he ****s that body it'll slow Khan down and bring his hands down (which I imagine will be glued to his temples), and if he goes for the arms and shoulders it'll take a lot of steam out of Khans punches and lower his output.

And if he lands on the chin ... well ... I think it ends there. I can honestly say a one punch KO isn't out of the question.
